Malone Plaza has been a retail staple in the Malone, NY community for over 30 years. Originally developed for Kmart, this 92,114 SF center declined over the years and fell into bad shape. When it was purchased by Anchor in 2021, the occupancy was 65% and the only remaining tenant’s were JoAnn Fabrics and Label Shopper. Prior to closing on the center, Anchor signed a long-term lease agreement with Big Lots. The center fits well into Anchor’s model of revitalizing underutilized assets. Anchor is excited to redevelop the center breathe new life into it and the Malone community.
