In 2017, Anchor bought property on Russell St for $2 million. The property was meant to be a traditional church building, and the sanctuary portion of the building is being utilized by The Nashville Vineyard Church. On the side of the sanctuary is a small office building that Anchor hopes to lease out to office tenants in the coming months. This property is directly down the street from Anchor’s boutique hotel known as The Russell, which was also a church of similar build that was renovated to accommodate a different industry. Since these properties were acquired, Anchor began the trend of renovating older churches with lots of character that serve a new segment.
